Brishti Majumder has completed her graduation in February 2017 from the Department of Architecture, BUET and joined as a lecturer in the same department in December 2017. She recently pursuing her M.Arch thesis from this department, under the division of History, Theory, and Criticism; in a topic related to the Late Medieval Temples in Bengal. She has been awarded the prestigious ‘Professor Richard Edwin Vrooman FAIA scholarship’ for excellence in Undergraduate Architectural Education. She conducts design studios in various level-terms and teaches theories related to Architectural History and Design Theory. She is interested in the vernacular approach towards architectural practice which is harmonized with the local context, including culture and traditions. Also deeply driven by the Temple Architecture in the Indian Subcontinent.
