Consulting Architect-Teachers Forum – Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation at BUET (CAF – BRTC, BUET) has been formed by the Department to establish and sustain a symbiotic relationship between the knowledge bases of academia and practice, which in turn will enrich ideas and help further develop expertise of the teachers of the DoA. CAF-BRTC may be regarded as the only research based professional body in the field of architecture in Bangladesh. Uniform Design of Sonali Bank Limited, 50 Bed Hospital for Diabetic Society of Chandpur, Map of Bangladesh: Mujib Nagar Liberation War Memorial, BUET-Japan Institute for Disaster Prevention and Urban Safety (BUET-JIDPUS), Master Plan of National University etc. are some of the significant projects of CAF- BRTC.
