Mohammad Tahajibul Hossain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and is currently the Coordinator of Heritage and Technology Integration Cell (HERITEiNCE).

Tahajibul Hossain is the core member of History, Theory and Criticism Division of the Department. His current research interest focuses on the application of contemporary technologies for documentation and information modeling as well as the theories and policies for conserving the architectural heritage of Bengal. He has achieved training certificate on Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) and Digital Documentation.

As a member of Consulting Architect-Teachers’ Forum Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (CAF-BRTC, Department of Architecture, BUET), Tahajibul Hossain has been engaged with several noteworthy professional architectural projects which includes individual buildings, master plans of complexes and a urban park. He is one of the winning design team member of the open architectural competition for ‘RAJUK Headquarter’ organized by Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) in 2014.

Tahajibul Hossain completed his M.Arch degree from the Department of Architecture, BUET in 2018 during which he was awarded the prestigious Vrooman scholarship. Prior to that, He graduated from BUET and joined as a lecturer in 2012.
