Nesfun Nahar is an architect and urbanist. She has research interest in Modern Architecture, Architectural and Urban History, Heritage and Cultural studies. Nahar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Nahar earned a Master’s degree in Housing and Urbanism from the Architectural Association in London with Commonwealth Scholarship. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in architecture from BUET and was awarded Shamsunnahar Khanam Gold Medal for securing highest CGPA. Nahar was also a lecturer at BRAC University’s Department of Architecture for eleven years. Besides taking part in various seminars, conferences and workshops she was a jury member for various student design competitions and charettes.
