Syma Haque Trisha is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture, BUET. She joined BUET in 2015 as a lecturer and was promoted to the post of Assistant Professor in 2017. Before joining BUET, she served in the Dept. of Architecture, Stamford University Bangladesh for about three years. After completion of her graduation in 2012, she also worked as a part-time trainer under Ministry of Woman and Children Affairs, Govt. of Bangladesh. She also worked in the ‘Marina Tabassum Architects’ as an Intern Architect. Her research and professional interest include Green and Sustainable Architecture, Luminous-Thermal conflicts, and Landscape planning and Design. Trisha did her undergraduate final project on “Deep Sea Port Multimodal Terminal at Sonadia Island in Maheshkhali”. She is a recipient of Dr. Rashid Memorial Scholarship (BUET) for Design. During her post graduate thesis in BUET, she focused on the performance of façade treatment of tall office buildings in respect to energy consumption. For which, she received Vrooman Memorial Postgraduate Scholarship. At present besides teaching, she loves to publish research papers in nation and international journals and conferences. As a member of CAF-BRTC-BUET, she is also involved in professional projects.
