A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony for ‘Bangladesh Lamps Limited (BLL), and Department of Architecture (DoA, BUET) Collaboration Programme (2022-2023)’ was held on 22 May 2022 in Vrooman room, DoA. The signing ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Ishrat Islam, Honourable Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning. Under this collaboration program, in each year, Tk. 4,50,000/- will be allocated for the publication of the thesis-projects of Design Studio-X through a book launching ceremony; and a yearly Tk. 1,20,000/- scholarship will be awarded to one student of Level-2, Term-1, based on the result of Level-1. Professor Dr. Shayer Ghafur, Head, DoA, BUET and Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning both thanked Mr. Shoeb Md. Asaduzzaman, Head of Business, BLL, TRANSTEC Lighting. They all wished this MoU a success and contributed to academia-industry partnership.
