With the help of digital fabrication, architectural model making has changed manifold. A fab lab or fabrication laboratory is quite common in most of the universities abroad. Department of Architecture, BUET has taken a step forward through introduction of a fab lab in the department. The Fab lab now offers a laser cutting machine and is aiming at accommodating a 3D printer in near future.
